Whether you are a Filipino that had sunny days in Manila the morning after Yolanda made landfall and wiped out most of Visayas, an expat or OFW who is faring well, or a Tacloban survivor, we all have one thing in common- we are desperate.

Desperate and frustrated watching how our government performs, desperate and frustrated monitoring news online to hear from friends and loved ones, or just plain desperate to get a drop of water to drink to last until the next relief goods arrive. We are all desperate. We all need to acknowledge that and move forward.

But PLEASE, please…I beg of you. SPREAD HOPE

STOP dessiminating hate-triggering information on Facebook- some of them are memes created to generate clicks. These clicks translate into cash because of paid ads! Ask any blogger you know and they can explain what CPC means! Later you will find it out that these negative posts were created by a bogus account and then you realise… its all too late, you have already clicked ‘share’…

STOP sharing hate tweets- leave the INC alone. If you judge them now, God will probably think about judging them on the day of reckoning! Let them face the Sovereign God and answer for themselves!

STOP poking on our leaders- they are not sleeping, yes they maybe slow but they are doing something! People outside the country are already critisizing them, is it gratifying to you to join in?

STOP chanelling your frustration and desperation to anger. When you spread it, you can turn a desperate and hopeful into a frustrated and angry mob.

That is THE LAST THING OUR COUNTRY NEEDS RIGHT NOW!

SPREAD HOPE.

Tweet, re-tweet…share and reshare those little things that show progress. Little shimmers of hope is all a dark world needs to brighten up everything.

SPREAD HOPE.

Share and re-share all the kindness and generosity people all over the world are extending to us.

SPREAD HOPE.

Share how the world is returning the favour to us, LEST WE FORGET.

SPREAD HOPE.

Its contagious. Hate is, too and it spreads quickly like wildfire. But hope is more powerful because its the only thing we all are holding on to right now.

WOULD YOU BE THE PERSON WHO WILL TURN THE HOPEFUL PINOY INTO AN ANGRY MOB?

SPREAD HOPE! SPREAD HOPE! SPREAD HOPE!
