Yesterday, I got to bring some of our ICA KiDs to represent at the 4/14 Window Global Summit held this year at The Imperial Queen’s Park Hotel at Sukhumvit soi 22. Although, we barely managed to get there, and only 4 among the 12 kids at confirmed made it to the Opening Ceremony, it was great fun and a good opportunity for networking.

We got the invitation from Karen Klongtruadroke, a good friend of my sister Bethel and a local celebrity here in Thailand. Despite her very busy schedule, she made an effort to pop in at ICA Bangkok last Sunday to extend the invitation. Shown in the picture below is me being sandwhiched between Karen (in a dress) and her sister Debbie Scott who is a Christian recordig artist with her son Logan.

We had to battle a heavy downpour that resulted to unbelievable traffic and flooding and we made it just when the other kids were already briefed and lined up to parade. They had to carry flags of the nations represented. The staff were gracious enough to let us join though we were very late. Thanks to Karen for letting us participate and for briefing us to arrive 2 hours before time for the Closing Ceremony.

It was all very quick we didn’t have time to let it sink in! Hahaha The others who were very unfortunately late didn’t even get to see what was inside the Hall but we are hoping we will enjoy it on the Closing Ceremony 🙂

Jesus, however, said, “Let the little children come to me, and stop keeping them away, because the kingdom from heaven belongs to people like these.”
